What Makes Agrihumic Different

Sourced from leonardite ore and cold-processed to preserve bioactivity, Agrihumic delivers measurable, lasting improvements to Kenya's most challenging soils.

🌱
Soil Structure Restoration

Binds soil particles into stable aggregates, improving aeration, reducing compaction, and increasing the soil's cation exchange capacity (CEC)—the key measure of long-term fertility in degraded Kenyan soils.

Targets: Compaction · Erosion · Low CEC
💧
Drought Resilience

Humic polymers increase water-holding capacity by up to 35%, extending moisture availability during dry spells—critical for rain-fed farming in Kenya's arid and semi-arid lands.

Water retention +35% · ASAL-proven
⚗️
Nutrient Unlock & NPK Boost

Chelates and releases phosphorus locked by Fe³⁺ and Al³⁺ ions. Stabilises nitrogen to reduce leaching into groundwater, and improves the efficiency of your existing NPK fertilisers—cutting input costs by up to 30%.

P · N · K efficiency boost · Groundwater safe
🦠
Microbial Stimulation

Acts as a prebiotic carbon source for beneficial soil bacteria and fungi, rebuilding the biological networks healthy soils depend on. Balances crop nutrition between root growth and above-ground production.

Boosts mycorrhizal colonisation · Root–shoot balance
🌾
Yield & Quality Improvement

Field trials across Kenyan counties show average yield increases of 30–45% for maize, beans, and vegetables. Works across field crops, horticulture, fruits, seed treatments, and hydroponics setups.

Maize · Beans · Vegetables · Avocado · Horticulture
🛡️
Stress & Disease Resistance

Enhances plant tolerance to cold, drought, pests, and disease. Also improves the effectiveness of herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides already in use—reducing chemical residues in your produce and soil.

Simple to Apply. Profound Results.

Agrihumic integrates with any existing farm practice—from smallholder hand application to large-scale mechanised farming. Follow these steps for best results.

Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Shelf life: 3 years from manufacture date in original sealed packaging. Available in 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, 25 kg, and 1,000 kg bulk bags. Keep out of reach of children.

01
Soil Test First

For best results, conduct a basic soil test before application. This helps determine your baseline pH and guides the amount of Agrihumic needed. Contact us or visit your nearest ATC for assistance.

02
Application Rates by Crop

Apply during land preparation or planting. Agrihumic can be broadcast, banded in furrows, or dissolved in water for foliar and fertigation use.

Crop / Use Rate Method & Frequency
Maize, Rice & Cereals4–6 kg/acre (10–15 kg/ha)Water flush or furrow · Min. 3× per growth cycle
Vegetables & Horticulture3–4 kg/acre (8–10 kg/ha)Broadcast, drip or foliar · Every 2 weeks
Legumes (Beans, Soy, Cotton)3–5 kg/acre (8–12 kg/ha)Furrow band · Min. 3× per growth cycle
Fruits (Avocado, Mango, Citrus)4–5 kg/acre (10–12 kg/ha)Water flush or micro-spray · Every 2 weeks foliar
Foliar Spray1–1.5 g/litre water (1:1000–2000)Backpack sprayer · Every 2 weeks
Drip / Fertigation1–2 kg per 1,000 LDissolve, filter, apply through drip lines
Seed Soaking (pre-planting)2 kg per 1,000 kg seedsSoak seed batch before planting
Degraded Soil (First Season)8–10 kg/acreDeep broadcast + till before planting
03
Incorporate & Irrigate

After broadcasting, lightly incorporate into the topsoil (0–15 cm) using a harrow or hand tool. Water immediately after application to activate the humic compounds and begin microbial stimulation.

04
Repeat for Best Results

Significant soil transformation occurs over 2–3 seasons of consistent use. Most farmers report visible improvement in soil texture and water retention within the first 6 weeks. We recommend seasonal application for ongoing soil health.

You Can Find All the Answers

Yes. Agrihumic is ideally suited to mixing with granular fertilisers like Urea and CAN. It stabilises nitrogen, slows nitrogen leaching, and improves the uptake efficiency of your NPK blends—meaning you get more from every bag you buy.
Most farmers notice improved soil texture and better water retention within 4–6 weeks of the first application. Yield improvements are typically visible at harvest. Significant long-term soil transformation builds across 2–3 growing seasons with consistent use.
Yes — Agrihumic is effective across field crops (maize, wheat, rice, sorghum), vegetables, legumes (beans, soy), fruits (avocado, mango, citrus), and even for seed treatment, substrates, and hydroponics. Application rates vary by crop type; refer to our rate table above.
Yes. Agrihumic is particularly effective on problematic soils with high salt content or high pH (above 7.5). Its fulvic acid fraction acts as a chelating agent, helping to break down salt accumulation and adjust soil pH over time, improving conditions for root development.
Agrihumic has been shown to increase the effectiveness of herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides already in use—meaning you can achieve better control at lower application volumes. It also reduces chemical residues in soil and produce.
We supply from 1 kg sample packs all the way to 1,000 kg bulk bags. Trial packs are available for farmer groups and NGO pilots. Contact us to discuss pricing for your scale of operation.
Yes. Agrihumic is OMRI Listed for certified organic production and compatible with EU organic standards. Each batch is quality-tested before dispatch — SGS or equivalent pre-shipment inspection available for bulk orders.
